Ashley J.J. White has been writing since she was a little girl. Her first “publication” was a collection of short stories she had printed, laminated, and bound to gift her family as Christmas presents when she was eight.
Though she never stopped writing, she spent her twenties bouncing around at and/or planning and promoting rock concerts. Motherhood and aging bones eventually brought her back to her hometown of Calgary where she now works as Program Coordinator for the Writers’ Guild of Alberta.
She has always been a champion of the arts and a cheerleader of independent art especially; she is only now beginning to recognize the artist in herself.
She begun seriously submitting her creative writing in early 2020 and since has had 8 publications and has 3 forthcoming.
She is currently working on the second draft of her debut novel, Unconventional.
